Ok here goes this long story of my nightmare.

Have a great PC that was built has significant memory, ram, etc etc. Double fans. I was using Window's XP Professional. Then one day it just started restarting over and over again. I would get to the log in screen once in awhile but then it would shut down again.

Tried rebooting in safe mode, no luck, Safe mode froze up over and over. Tried to put a floppy with virus, malware tool in and boot, no luck same thing. I do not have the XP Pro CD anymore, nor do I have the product key.

So I put in XP Home and installed that. I guess I partitioned my drive. My D drive as XP Home on it and it works just fine, I have tried all the things I have read from other posts with similar problems virus scan, malware, adware, etc. One problem is that I can not get into the add and remove programs on the C drive to get rid of some stuff and the other stuff I cant find where the program says it was. I delete temp files, minidump, etc.

So I guess my questions are :
    1. My XP Home has no drivers etc... how the heck do I get those back.
    2. How can i access the full drive of XP Pro, it lets me see some files but that is it, cant get into my outlook which had emails I need etc...I cant get to the control panel either.
    3. Is there anyway to gain total access to the XP PRO and all the files, programs etc?
    4. I tried to run Process Server, but it did not include the C drive. Only the drive of the OS system I as using. Did the virus scans etc.. do only the D drive?
    5. If I just have to start over how the heck do I get the other OS system off and all the files hogging room?
    6. When I was working on this earlier I could not gain access to task manager at all to see what was running the PC would not let me.

I have limited exp with PC problems. And right now I have tried what I could find and am stuck.

Have you done a repair install using the XP disc?

This restores all the system file back to new while keeping your stuff intact

Sounds like you're locked out of the C:\ drive. Could've been the last program you loaded, or a driver problem. Do you have the original disc? You can boot from the CD drive and choose "repair" option. If you try "safe mode" you can choose the individual program boot option and see if one of those programs are loading incorrectly. The last resort is to clean install the whole gear.
