The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I been messing around with MediaMonkey as an alternative to iTunes. You can use it to sync your mp3. I still use WMP cause it docks in the taskbar which is damned convenient. I've also liked Quintessential Player.

    Nothing like using the default windows folder/file system.

    All those media programs screw up your organized music by separating them using their ID3 tags which may or may not be complete or accurate.

    I hate media tags. I always remove them. I prefer to sort by name.
