This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ME BACK once again,,,,
    Can any body tell me about the best audio editing software available in the market..Please dont mendion sony sound forge 9 and adobe cause these dont hav option to scan song and divide it into channels ..u must be knowing that songs are composed in 18 or 16 channels..each channel containing different sound...u may call it tracks also...2 track contains vocal and rest musics....please advice me a software which can scan a song ...... ;) ;) ;) ;)

    Adobe Soundbooth all the way. But it'll take you a while to learn everything and get used to it.
    If you want a freeware, then you'll have to go with Audacity.

    Does sound booth realy work!!! like pro editing as in studios...

    Try FruityLoops, although it's wicked expensive so you might have to *acquire* it.
    Otherwise try Reaper (unexpiring shareware) or Ardour (open source, but Linux only)
