Whenever I try to Synchronize my clock with that of the internet clock, a error message appears that will not let me. Suggestions?

Try disabling any firewalls and then sync.

Ensure the time service is started, make sure you are actually connected to the internet, try a different time server, and check to be sure port 123 is not blocked by your firewall.

    I use time-a.nist.gov successfully.
