It was 2.99 on ebay and its oem plastic sticker looks way better then the old vista sticker!
-
Ahahaha
I thought I was "sad" for considering doing this, i've not taken the plunge and done it quite yet but it's constantly on my mind -
I did the same thing. Plus I took off the wrong Dell sticker they placed on and corrected it with a Core 2 Duo.
Nice Upgrade from Vista and Centrino to Windows 7 and Intel Core 2 Duo. 2 $2.00 stickers just increased my resale value by $100. -
Can you add a link to where you got it? I'm finding them on sale for over 2.99, not looking to pay more than that.
-
That one is over but this one is still on
Ebay
you can choose 3 stickers in this one and he emailed me the Pics of Windows ones
I bought one of each size from this one too, for other computers at home! It looks like the same the price is 4.00 1 plus 3 for ship total for 3 stickers
Yes this is for resale but also for fun too! The core duo pentium sticker I guess is ok but its a tiny crooked seen worse on pic! -
Is the one you bought number 13, 15, or 17?
-
on the laptop is 15 -
lol i really want a win 7 sticker but can't justify paying for it
oh well
haha maybe ill print one -
Okay, you have to order 3 at a time right?
-
so for 4.00 you can order 1 style sticker for a total of 3 that is why I ordered the 3 sizes since I wanted a Win 7 sticker
Cheap in my book -
-
ya, that's cheap, I have seen it go up as far as $32 for one sticker. People are suckers.
-
Lol. I would rather just take all the stickers off clean, or wait till I get a new notebook that comes with the sticker.
-
I got tons for like $2 bucks, but yes the prices quadroupled after Windows 7 came out.
theres a BIG difference between Centrino 1 and Vista vs.
Centrino 2 and Windows 7.
Its like having a V8 Cobra Mustang. But only a V6 Decal. Lables are important, plus my new stickers look cool. -
I only paid 429 new for the core duo T4200 and LED screen so I thought Heck its fine but the Vista sticker had to go! I fired Vista up once and then format and 7 ultimate! LOL -
Good to know I'm not the only picky person out there, hope I'm not OCD, lol.
-
Woah.. that anyone would PAY to have stickers on, blows my mind
-
I can spare $5

I was actually thinking about removing the Windows Vista/Centrino 2/Nvidia sticker that came on my laptop and placing them on the lid so people see them when its opened up >.>;
I wonder if I should get a Core 2 Duo/Windows 7 sticker to go along with it, and just stick them all on the top edge of my monitor xP -
so my mouse is the most advance in the whole world
it has a core2duo and Vista basic ,just 'cuz dont use a monitorAttached Files:

Does having this sticker really increases the sale value? I prefer the palm rest bare.
-
But Yes I have sold many computers over the years on Ebay, yes marketing is everything..................
( besides I like to brag a Little LOL) -
im going to do the same... im going to re buy all the stickers that came with my laptop (replacing vista with 7) and im gunna put them all above the keyboard... because i like to show off but i dont wanna have them on my palm rest... lol
-
moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
-
I probably have a more justified reason...
People kept asking me where I got it from...
Of Course I can't tell them the truth can I ? So maybe the sticker would shut them up. -
-
And an Intel sticker adds another three inches to your...
I'm going to get a Core 2 Duo sticker, a Windows 7 sticker and an ATI sticker. -
-
Done it too!!
I like it!
Benji -
i think that notebookreview should officially declare it to be 'cool' to put windows 7 stickers on. then it will be cool, then i can buy some, and i will be cool
-
If you think they look good, go ahead!
-
I purchased the stickers before windows 7 came out as well as all of the new versions of my stickers, but once I took the old stickers off I decided it looked better with the stickers off.
-
So what happens if I buy an Apple sticker to put on my PC?
I understand that adding the Windows 7 sticker will increase the horsepower of the notebook and overall performance, a worthy investment. I assume the intel, nVidia/ATI stickers have a similar effect as well. However, I am completely confused as to what happens if I were to add the benefits of an Apple sticker to my computer? Anyone know? -
DO NOT ATTEMPT!
-
Girls will notice the sticker walk up to you saw a fake, look at you in disgust and walk off
PC users will give you a dirty look for trying to be a wannabe.
Mac users will look at you in the eye and laugh until they fell off their chairs.
Basically no one will like you. -
lol yer the worst from both worlds...
-
i took off my vista sticker , my nvidia sticker , my core2quad sticker...
makes my friend think i had a cheap knockoff laptop from china..
and it feels better not to brag something on when everyone else still using acers lol -
Ordered a Windows 7 25 x 25mm, a new style C2D, and an ATI Graphics sticker.
As soon as I puut on the ATI sticker, my Crysis framerate will increase by ten. -
"So what happens if I buy an Apple sticker to put on my PC?"
you have to change your sig to ThibaultFanboy -
-
Anyone have a clue as to how long it takes to ship? I just ordered a set a few minutes ago off of a flip of a coin.
At least I think I'll have space for that 25x25mm sticker. -
-
A week? I'll laugh if HP decides to send me my Windows 7 upgrade and they both come on the same day. -
I didn't order a Win7 sticker, but I did promptly rip off my vista sticker....don't want that showing up 'anywhere'
-
My Vista sticker peeled itself off from palm stress and then the Core2Duo sticker followed soon after. Sure the lappy looks no frills now but I don't care to "impress" anybody anyway.
-
"palm stress" that old problem
silver colour wore down on my last laptop.
this time i have a cheap pda clear screen cover on to protect it.
it sticks very lightly, just enough to keep laptop lookin nice -
Anyone know how to remove the old vista sticker on my notebook? It seems pretty much stuck to the computer.
Took off the Vista stcker on the new 3 week old 1555 and put 7 on it!
