Hello, new member here.
I just yesterday purchased a new Toshiba laptop, model number in thread title. It came pre-installed with Windows 7, which I don't particularly like, and I was wondering if it's possible to install Windows XP on it. I read on one of their forums that this was not supported, and when I went to look for drivers for this particular model for Win XP there were not many, and I don't think I saw a wireless driver.
My question is, is there a way to install windows XP on this machine and have it work? I really do not like Windows 7. Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum, I would suggest (if you can not find drivers for XP) to install Virtual Box ( VirtualBox)
That way you will not effect your win 7 environment. Bottom line you can use this software to run XP within Win 7 . I can attest it is easy to use and well documented.
Also if you are not happy the XP install in Virtual box it can just be deleted with no effect on the original win 7 install
I highly recommend keeping win 7 because support for XP (SP2) has ended:

BTW you should have at least 4 GIG ram for the aforementioned suggestion to work well
