I am trying to install xp pro sp1 on my laptop and get the message "missing hard drive" .
I have a few questions so please induldge me :)
    1. where can I get the SATA drivers I need (not Toshiba thats for sure)?
    2. Can I get them through Intel (does chipset even have anything to do with it)?
    3. Is SATA the same as RAID?

The laptop was shipped with Vista on it and the previous owner put XP on it after her received it. I bought it from him (didnt get the System Disk that usually ship with it though)
I started having problems with IE after upgrsding to IE7. Became so frustrated with it that I "FDISK" the darn thing and now Im stuck. Ive searched all over the internet for these SATA drivers but had no luck. Can anyone please help me??
