Does anyone know how to get the "back" and "forward" browsing commands from the touchpad working with Mozilla Firefox (or other programs besides Internet Explorer)? I'm talking about where you slide your finger from the top middle edge of the touchpad to the right or left; I think it's called "Internet Assist" in the touchpad settings. Thanks!

See if you can map that movement to Alt+left and Alt+right. That's how I had to get mouse buttons to work properly, might be a similar problem.

has anyone figured out how to get simple gestures such as "back" and "forward" to work on a TOUCHPAD with FIREFOX?
(not looking for keyboard combos or mouse clicks, just pure gestures that work just like they do in IE)
thanks

Using FireFox, Click Tools, Click extensions, click get more extensions, click navigation. Download All-in-one-gestures. One you have downloaded the app, open it and click on the gesture customization tab. Configurate the back and forward any way you wish. I use this extension mainly for my bluetooth mouse. However, it works just as good with my touch pad and right click button. good luck!

anyone figure out how to take the keyboard or mouse/touchpad buttons out of the requirements for gestures in firefox? (in IE, LEFT SWIPE = BACK, with no other keys involved, for example) thanks
