For some reason my touchpad would just not work on double clicks. I can move it and use the mouse clickers, but I can't use the double touch option to double click on something. This just started recently when I reimaged my computer and decided to dual boot with linux. When I come back from a hibernate when I just had linux running the touchpad would simply not work. Anyone know of any reason why this would not work. It is a minor annoyance because I have an external mouse, but it would be nice to know that I would not have to restart to get this to work, which is always the case.

Could is possibly be a driver issue? I know Linux doesn't always support everthing fully, especially newer hardware.

Definately make sure you have the right drivers. My touchpad was working fine with the drivers I had and then they released new ones so I downloaded them and the touchpad didn't work at all. I would think your problem could also be driver related.

It may be a driver problem, but the fact is that it does not work in Windows but in Linux it works just fine. There is something with the hibernate that seems to affect it in some way. Restarting the computer from linux then going to windows, everything is fine, but using the hibernate seems to be where it locks up the double touch function of the touchpad. I will investigate this problem a little later, I got class in a few.
