    Touchpad stops working after I close lid

    On my Dell XPS m1530 running synaptics drivers my touchpad quits working when I close the lid. Any fixes? It works with a wireless mouse and after a reboot.

    Do you mean when you re-open the lid after closing it, as i cannot see how you can use the toutchpad with the lid closed anyway!!

    Well, actually there are some people who reported that even with the A09 the issue still remains..

    Have you tried updating your drivers? or going back to the ALPS drivers from the Dell drivers n download' section? Just wondering if the issue remains with both!! You could try though...
