Hi. I just want to track those who may have had sleep/resume problems. I was wondering if the latest release of patches from Windows Update on 11/13/07 has helped anyone. There were 2 reliability updates, has anyone had anymore sleep/resume issues since the fix? Thanks

What kind of problems are you talking about? XP or Vista? XP didn't have any reliability updates - there were 2 security updates and one malicious removal tool within the last few days.

I installed the updates 3 weeks back. Now resuming from sleep is much faster.
Also startup time improved by like 20-30 secs.

Eyecon82....you do have your OS in your sig...great! I have both those updates installed and it does resume very fast from sleep I guess, but I didn't notice at what point that started. Boot time seems the same to me.

I also noticed that it takes almost 5 seconds for the screen to come on after the updates than before...before it was instantaneous and i had to wait 5 secs for the FP to be detected..now it all comes on at the same time (both lcd and FP)
