I won't bore you with the details as to why, but at Adobe's recommendation I'm setting up a new admin user account and may delete the original.....

However, after setting up a new admin account I see that absoultely none of my icons such as start menu and program items, or system tray icons, appear. And what about all my documents and images?! It has taken me two weeks to set up my computer and I don't fancy spending all the time again.

Question: is there a quick way to get these settings and documents from the original admin user account to the new one?

    Thank you.

I'd try simply copying the old admin profile into the new admin profile. Or someone more knowledgeable can suggest a method that includes some sort of easy-to-use wizard.

I'm sure there's a "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" for windows XP. Google away! :)

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you do that?

Thank you yin. I was able to transfer the files and settings. Some of the files I moved by showing hidden files then copying folders and their content from my old amin to new admin user folder.
