Is there a way to transfer an itunes library from one computer to another without losing playlists, ratings, date last played,...?

If you go to your My Music Folder, you may be able to move the itunes folder over to the new machine, not sure what you will lose and keep, but I know it stores the library info here.

Yes, you can transport your entire iTunes library to another computer and keep everything intact.

All you need to do is to copy your entire iTunes folder (for most people it's kept in the User/My Music folder), to your new destination directory. On your new computer, hold 'Shift' when starting up iTunes, and it will ask you to point it to the library file you want to use to run iTunes with. Point it to the directory you copied it to, and it will start up with everything exactly like how you last shut iTunes down.
