    Transfering favorites to a new computer?

    I just bought a brand new Dell XPS 420 desktop, and i was wondering how do i transfer my internet explorer favorites from my old to new computer?

    thre is a favourites folder in my documents i think...thats where it is on my worrk computer........just copy and paste the contents of it.

    In the help menu it will tell you where everything is located.

    On the old machine just export the bookmarks. Export is available on IE under the file menu. Use a usb thumbdrive to move the exported stuff to the new machine then import them. (You can also do this with cookies and RSS feeds.)

    Thanks for that info, Ive been draging my favs one at a time into a desktop folder, copying the folder to my ext-HD, and then copying the folder to my new laptop, then going to each website and adding them to my favs, one at a time, on the new laptop. ( pretty ridiculous, but works :p )

    Ofcourse that works... but useless to do it... :p
    it'd be easier and faster to just type them in manually from the beginning instead of copying and draging and so ;) Luckily it's easier to do it as stated :)
