I'm buying a new Samsung SSD drive 64 gb and want to transfer my current win7 OS and configurations onto the new hard drive.

Can someone provide a step by step procedure guide on what I would have to do when I get my new drive in the mail to when I actually boot it up in the system and transfer the OS into it?

I own a Gateway p7805u laptop and have one free slot for this SSD. Can't wait to get this SSD show on the road!

I'm running Samsung 470 64GB,,I did a clean install,,I installed vista(retail)sp2, then Win 7 from upgrade (retail) 64 bit disk,,first time I ever used an upgrade,,usually, I go with full versions, I have experienced no differences in peformance and no problems with activation ect....

    Cheers
