I received my new laptop(msi ms-1651) yesterday and Vista is now requesting me to activate. I tried to but then it says that my key is already in use... What are my options? I got my copy of Ultimate through the WFP program so I'm not sure of what type of license I have. Can I just call MS and request a new key?
I received a 32-bit and 64-bit version of Ultimate with each having a separate serial, the 32-bit key got misplaced in part due to a relative maniacal cleaning habits. Do you think they might still have it in their system as that one was only used once. I have a access to free Vista Business copies through MSDNAA but I'd rather not downgrade from Ultimate.

If a license key will not activate over the internet and the key is otherwise legit, you need to call msft.

Sounds like calling MS up would be the quickest way to a resolution.
