Not sure if this is the right forum, if not, could someone please movie it to the correct one. Anyways, I was downloading a movie from my school's FTP server and I was using the Open option instead of the saved option. Well, after the download when it tried to open it, I got his msg:

nameofmovie=1999=.avi does not exist. It may have been renamed, moved, or deleted since it was downloaded.

I click ok and do properties and it said it was downloaded to:

    C:\Users\Myname\AppData\Local\Temp\nameofmovie=1999=.avi

Now, does this have something to do with the fact that I once tried to move my user files from one partition to another? From my C:\ to D:\. What I did was, right click each Documents, Downloaded, Movies, Music, etc and click move and created a new folder on my D:\ partition. What had happen was that this would create a double listing in the search and that my C:\ usage did not go down. So I went to my D:\ and just right clicked and restored to default moving them back. With this switch forward and back, has this caused a problem when downloading temporary files? Not sure what to do, any advice would be great. Thanks

    Hi,

could you say a little more about the browser you are using?

did you have a look in the temp folder of your profile, if there was a movie file around? and then... you could always just save the thing ;)

Did you go to the file location - C:\Users\Myname\AppData\Local\Temp\nameofmovie=1999=.avi and see if it's there?
If it is drag it to your desktop and see if it will play.

The size of the Movie must have been to big for Small space left on your C:\
Try saving it on D: next time.

And i hardly know anyone who OPENS a movie.
