My g71gx-rx05(bb version) came with Vista 64bit, and last night, I installed Ubuntu 9.04 and now would like to put XP on my laptop as well... Will the order of installation matter? and will an OEM XP work for double and triple booting?

The order of the installation does matter. Any version of XP will work, but you will need to change the boot order.

Do you really need to triple boot? Maybe you should consider just virtualizing those OSes unless you're going to be using all 3 a lot...

Virtualbox by Sun is, IMO free and, except for Drag and drop, IMO better than VMware workstation
