I presently have 3.5 and it's pretty sluggish especially when ut has 4 or more pages to load. So I figure I'd try the new 3.6 to see if there's any improvement in speed. However, I can't seem to get it right.
Everytime I uninstall 3.5 and install 3.6 I just keep getting 3.5 with all the junk (ad-ons etc.) I'm trying to get ride of. What gives?
Maybe it's a sign I should just switch back to IE 8? Or better yet, switch to IE 9 Beta?

Did you try to just install it over 3.5?
I didn't think you had to un-install a previous version to upgrade to a beta. -
Well I wanted to get ride of all the junk I somehow allowed to build up (yahoo and a lot of other toolbar stuff) on my current edition of Firefox. I'd like to start with a blank slate, then carefully select and configure my new browser.

Hmm. Well you could backup your Bookmarks (if you want to), and delete 3.5, and then re-download and install it.
That should give you a clean version of 3.5, and then you can try to install 3.6 beta over it. -
3.6 is not in beta. Uninstall 3.5 if you choose, then go to mozilla.com then download and install 3.6 (which is NOT beta).

Ccleaner will clean up all your computer junk and more.

Silly me. I wondered why I couldn't find the standard version by now. I always go to Cnet for all my downloads. Thanks for the wake up call.
