This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Trouble with video codec in vista

    Now that I got the wireless problem solved. I realized I can't get any videos to play in my IE7 browser (and the default player is WMP11)... I can't get any divx stuff to play either.

    Anybody solved this problem in vista yet?

    sorry but i never xprienced this problem in vista - ever. video streaming working fine, video files opnend fine

    ff and ie and wmp11. vlc & powerdvd also work

    can u expand a bit more of ur problem?
