I am having a problem with my updates, if i switch them on. The amber shield appears in the task bar and a pop up informs me that i have new updates, so i click on it and agree to download them. it downloads ok, asks for "express install" or "custom install" i choose custom and there is only one update, it's called "Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1" i tick the box But then it all goes pear shaped.i click the appropriate button and it sits there not doing anything before telling me "Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1" was not installed...... any body have any suggestions..??....
i have looked at the trouble shooting stuff from their link and i googled it too, but didn't get very far
