I just downloaded TrueCrypt and before i encrypt my hard drive i want to see if i can disable Pre Boot Authentication.. if not encrypting the entire drive is pointless for me. Im not worried about someone stealing my laptop, im just worried about going onto public networks (Especially the one run my my pc teacher at school). Does anyone know if it is possible to disable Pre Boot Authentication? And if so could you tell me how?
