Basically, I'm trying to control volume using my trackpad. I don't want it to act like a mouse anymore.

I've been trying to find software to do this for awhile with no luck. Maybe i've been searching for the wrong thing. Any help would be great.

I want to control the volume in any of the following ways.

Left Click - Volume Down / Right Click - Volume Up / Trackpad touch -Mute & Unmute
    or
Slide up on trackpad to increase volume and down to decrease. With the left/right buttons to mute.

Can this exist? Is it even possible? Just trying to control basic system volume.

thanks again for reading, hopefully i can get a solution, and sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask this question.

You can probably remap the trackpad buttons, but not the trackpad itself. The only option to make the trackpad control the volume is if the trackpad drivers allow for touchzones. That is, touching a specific area of the trackpad will launch a certain program or perform a certain action. But that is only if trackpad drivers are programmed for them already.

They will be in the trackpad's controls under the MOUSE control panel if the trackpad has them.
