So I found this Program on the internet and I want to see how it works and if it worth keeping or not. (If this is against the forum sry)

So the File is a .ISO 4.23 gb. When I try to move it to a External Hard drive it says I don't have space, I have 100 gb Free space. (don't think space is a problem)
The computer where I downloaded it (Old Laptop), doesn't have a DVD burner, so i need it on my desktop to burn it to a DVD.
I tried Extracting the file and move it to the external, but says "Failed to Copy". (Was able to extract.)
Other then re-downloading this file again, How can I move it ?????

Is your drive formated as FAT32 or NTFS. You need it NTFS.
-
Yup, the external isn't formatted in NTFS. You'll need to backup the external drive's data and reformat the external.
-
OK yeah I see both are FAT 32. So I will do what you guys said.
Just one thing.
I have 2 Externals 600 GB Verbatim. One I am using, the other I haven't use it yet. But I was really soon. Would it be bad if I have:
Hard drive 1: FAT32
Hard drive 2: NTFS
Would this hurt one of the drive in the long run. Or could I just leave it NTFS ?? -
Leave it as NTFS. It was in FAT32 for other use with other OSes, such as Linux and Mac OSX.
-
You can convert your drive to ntfs by using the "Convert" command in cmd.
e.g. convert c: /fs:ntfs
But to convert back to FAT, you'll have to reformat, or use Partition Magic (not free). -

You know, after looking at that site, it looks as if it may be an illegal copy of Windows XP. The problem you're experiencing is not related directly to the content, so I'm going to remove the link from the first post. Keep this on-topic to his file copying, and it isn't a problem.
