I have been facing a dispci.dll file error pop message on windows 7 home premium 64 bit . Its a system file that seems to be corrupted or affected by malware or some virus may be . I was able to get a clean copy of the file from another pc using the same operating system .When i try to copy and paste that file into the system 32 folder located inside the windows folder on windows 7 .It tells me that i dont have permission to do this action or need to get administrative permission to perform this action etc. How can i copy and paste a good version of this file from another computer to my system ? .Need help please .

Have you tried renaming the old version first?

if the corrupted dll files name is abcd.dll change it to efgh.dll and then try copying the file across again.

messing about in the system folder with dll files can be risky so take care.

Have you tried running "sfc /scannow" from an elevated command prompt? It may repair it for you...
