Really? I downloaded, but didn't install. I wanted the free product key, but wanted more opinions on it first.

    What's bloated about it?

Doesn't look like it does anything that cannot be done natively except registry clean/defrag. And there are programs made just for that.

Installed it and immediately uninstalled it. Looks like a very nice program that centers a lot of different functions into one place, but I can't stand programs that run in the background that I'll barely use when I have others that do the same thing.

Thanks for linking to the offer!

Been using it since my first Core Duo vista laptop (first laptop ever!)

Very impressive software, if you have an SSD i'd maybe steer clear of some of it's features

I have been using Advanced System care for years, but this Tuneup software is much better, I have been running it for a couple of days without problem. :)

Does it really help? I mean, what does it do that most of us don't do manually?

    Edit:
Got the 2011 version instead. Seems cool. Guess I will add it to ccleaner and glary utilities as my cleaners. Had to disable it's bloody services but it's cool.

One of the benefits (for my daughter's system) is the live optimization - set it up and let it do it's thing in the background (believe every 3 days was what I set hers for).
Keeps her system running nicely and avoids the phone cars to try to fix a system long distance....

nope no probs here. run it every day.
click the cog in the top right > automatic maintanance and make sure its turned on. you dont need to do anything then as it runs a cleanup in the background. see if it crashes when it runs that.

It crashes when it runs automatically as well, the file that crashes is an .dll and the error is an memory allocation error of some sort.

whenever i have dodgy dll's i run cc cleaner registry clean up and delete them as sound like something is getting corrupted somewhere.
