    Turn Off: Show Shadow Under Menus

    so i have finally figured out how to make circle dock stay in its location when opening something, and am very close to getting rid of the task bar but i have a problem when using the circle dock to open the start menu after its closed the shadow areas are still left and it says that i need to turn off "Shadow Under Menus" but i cant seem to find that can someone please point me in the right direction

    In the Control Panel, open System, and click the Advanced system settings link on the left side (or run SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe). In the Performance section, click (Visual)Settings. Go to Visual Effects tab. It's somewhere there :D

    Right click ont he desktop, go to windows color & appearance, effects and the unclick the box

    that is with Vista
