This is a really weird issue that I am facing. I have searched the forums using Google but haven't found anything similar. Basically there seems to be a way to uninstall this piece of crap from MS. However in my case when I go to uninstall it, the screen refuses to respond that is no uninstall window shows up. Any other way of uninstalling this?

Are you using "add and remove programmes" from the Control panel?
    CCleaner?
I've heard there is a software called Revo unistaller too....

I would just disable the service all together and be done with it. Windows Live Care can be a pain trying to un-install, a clean re-install would be the best way around.

    cheers ...

Would a system restore help? My personal experiences with Revo Uninstaller haven't been really good. :(

@ DetlevCM: Yes I am using Add or Remove programs from the Control panel.

If you use the add remove software via control panel it should work flawlessly...

    Maybe bug Microsoft about it...

Sytem Restores - in my opinion they mess up more than they repair...
