I know continuous charging of battery raise its temperature which is hazardous for lithium-ion batteries.

Usually after charging my laptop's battery I don't plug-out rather just turn off battery charging through dell battery meter (utility). Is it fine? Can I put my laptop plugged-in whole day in this way?

What do you think? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Hi muhammadalidildar,
I am from Dell Social Media and Community, Turning off battery charging through Dell Battery meter is normal. I would like to recommend you to drain the battery completely every once in a while. This would help you to improve the battery life.

    Regards,
    Niranjan

@NiranjanAtDell- Thank you very much for your support. I visited Dell Official website here. It says:

"with current lithium ion batteries this practice (completely discharge my battery before I charge it) does not improve the runtime of the battery. This practice is a holdover from the days in which NiMH batteries were used."

I would recommend to keep the battery around 40%, if you will turn off the charging.
I have read is better, to keep the battery healthy as possible if its not used, obviously.
