    hi,

I recently bought a turtle beach audio adavntage micro usb soundcard with s/pdif output. I have plugged this into my sony es1200 via my laptop and set the dirvers in vista to digital output. When i go into the device settings and test DTS and DD5.1 output it works fine. When i play an avi or dvd with 5.1. all i get is stereo (PCM i think). So I downloaded ac3 filter and setup the config for S/pdif output etc. but still no joy. Would the fact that i cannot disable the onboard soundcard on my d610 BIOS be the problem? Has anyone got any ideas?

Also i can not find the Media PC forum anymore has it gone?
