If you have a TV tuner it mean you can plug your TV connection into your computer and watch it there. And record etc. S Video is a different type of connection for TVs, DVD players etc. The standard is 4 pin but you will find 7 pin and even 9 pin connectors which require an adaptor to work with 4 pin. DVI is a replacement for your normal VGA monitor cable which saves you the hassle of setting your monitor size etc and provides better quality.
