Has anyone tried this nifty little software out yet? Looks very promising.

It was mentioned in PCmag that TweakUI isn't even in the same league as TweakVI. I don't have alot of time on my hands right so I have yet to try this software out.

Anyone interested or have tried it out, please give some feedback, pros/cons, reviews and the whole 9.

    :)

I just hope it doesn't brick my system. I will have to find something to make a hd image before i try this out fully, but for now i'll test out Firetune, because it makes a backup of my profile so i'll be safe. But i don't know if vista system restore will save me this time. I may just leave this to flamenko if i can't find a good program to back me up soon because i know you guys want a review fast.

I tried it a while ago... it is ok. Did not brick my system.

You have to purchase plugins for some stuff... that is the catch. No spyware or malware installed so it is safe... just somewhat limited in the free version. But don't get me wrong, the free version offers a lot. (well, what I consider a lot, some others might think it is total rubbish.)

With that said though, I would not download on a system I was using as my daily system. I downloaded it into my vista virtual pc build. So, it is good, maybe not as good as some would want... not something I'd say you could not live without. I did not see a "killer app" that came with the program.

I've just installed firetune and i recommend it to everyone. It speeds up firefox a lot, and i think it may also help curb firefox's bad memory usage. (Although i don't know because i have 2GB)

^Awesome. Did you experience any poor system performances though?

No, but then again i never max out my power, or ram so i may not be a viable test subject.
