So my computer (Dell XPS M1530) is running Vista (32-bit) and both these problems have basically sprung up within hours of each other.

    1) So when I turned on my computer today I noticed My FL Studio 8 icon was blank, so I clicked on it and was told that the directory was corrupted. So I then try to run the chkdisk utility to remedy this issue, and was prompted to restart to commence the scanning of my hard drive. Problem is it never scans when I restart.
After browsing the internet for solutions I gave up. At this point I don't care if I recover any of my files as long as I can get rid of this thing.

2)My dad brings me a copy of Photoshop CS3 extended from his work today. I run the DVD, click the install button and am immediately told my temp folder is full. I run the disk cleaner and try installing again this time I am told the setup has "encountered an error and cannot continue Internal Error 2330. 1392." Now its giving me the temp folder message again....

I don't think a clean install is necessary considering I just got this thing.

Whilst running chkdsk in windows, did you check both of the disk options ??

As for the error, run CCleaner to clean up the registry, since its more or less a program conflict. If it is full of bloatware, clean install will be a better option.
