    1. How can I restore my recycle bin icon in the desktop, i accidentally deleted it and I can create a shortcut symbol but the new symbol doesn't change when it's empty/full.

    2. My internet explorer is being weird, when I open it and try to click on anything on the IE window this attention sound is played by windows and I can't do anything and no messages pop up. Should I just install the newest version?

    Thanks for any help! :)

    1) Right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose Personalize. On the left side of the new open window, choose "Change desktop icons". Tick "Recycle Bin".

    2) Try restarting your computer. If that doesn't work, update IE, if you haven't already. The latest version is IE 8. If it still fails, try a different browser.

If you open your Sound options (Control Panel/Sound), then click on the "Sounds" tab, you can scroll down to the IE sounds and turn it off or change it - or at least find out what the sound is.
