I have turned off the UAC warning in vista, but, whenever i try to run a exe file, the "open file - security warning" still pops up everytime.

how can i fix this so that it doesnt keep on asking me.

    thanks.

There should be a checkbox that says something along the lines of, "Ask for this type of file" when the box shows up. Uncheck that.
