    Is it just the same?
Sorry if this has been asked before or if its a silly question but if i was to buy a gaming laptop in the US (where they seem to be cheaper) does anybody know if it will run games etc bought in the UK?
Just wondering if things like that are cross country compatable

As far as I am aware software should be cross border compatible, its only DVDs and BlueRay which have the area "lock".

But I can't guarantee it - wait for other replies.

pretty sure your right, just wanted someone else to have the same opinion, my time is pretty equally split anyway.
probably buy one in US unless someone says otherwise on this matter
