I was accidentally deleted my hard drive partition for my external disk. I have not re-written anything to the drive, and as it sits now, it is 1.37 TB unallocated space. Please tell me there is a way of recovering the data off this drive, there are some precious things I need from it! thanks in advance for help!

Eausus has always worked for me. There's is an actual partition recovery program so you may want to give it a try: File and data recovery software to unformat, undelete files. Recover deleted files and recover formatted disk or corrupt drives - EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.
You can download the trial and see if it works for you. -

Chances are good that you may still be able to recover the data. You can use any number of data recovery software utilities - many of which are free - such as the one radji linked you too.
Recuva is a popular and free program. Last time I used Glary Utilities, it had a "File Undelete" tool as well. But it's been awhile since I've used it.
Good luck! -
try this one to extract data

I would say there is another good program but it is paid that would be Active Undelete but you have to buy it to get full function from it. But I have and used it and it works I recovered a dvd iso I made and accidentally deleted but recovered it. It's paid but I would say from my experience in using and testing it on deleted files gave good results back.
