I was accidentally deleted my hard drive partition for my external disk. I have not re-written anything to the drive, and as it sits now, it is 1.37 TB unallocated space. Please tell me there is a way of recovering the data off this drive, there are some precious things I need from it! thanks in advance for help!

Chances are good that you may still be able to recover the data. You can use any number of data recovery software utilities - many of which are free - such as the one radji linked you too.

Recuva is a popular and free program. Last time I used Glary Utilities, it had a "File Undelete" tool as well. But it's been awhile since I've used it.

    Good luck!

I would say there is another good program but it is paid that would be Active Undelete but you have to buy it to get full function from it. But I have and used it and it works I recovered a dvd iso I made and accidentally deleted but recovered it. It's paid but I would say from my experience in using and testing it on deleted files gave good results back.
