    Unable to change screen resoloution

    After installing the demo of a fishing game, my screens resoloution has dropped. I am unable switch to my native (wxga) res. Now i have tried everything which i can think of which isnt much! I am looking for advice bear in mind my knowledge of such things is not exstensive, so imagine you are talking to a six year old. O.S is vista home prem. Thanks.

    hi there, firstly have you tried getting the latest video drivers, see if it fixes it, if it was the fishing game then uninstal it, or do a system restore to the previous day

    Six year old instructions for system restore:

    1. Left click on Start Orb, lower left of task bar.
    2. Type "System Restore" (no quotes) in 'Search programs and files at bottom'.
    3. Left click on System Restore result at the top of the results window.
    4. Choose a restore point such as from the previous day (as mentioned in a previous post).
    5. Click on Next and let it perform the restore.

    cheers peeps. None of the above suggestions worked so i just kept fiddling.and bingo! back to normal. Dont know how or why. Blind luck!
