This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Unable to delete TEMP files...

    ALL applns. are closed yet unable to delete some TEMP files. How do i delete these files ? I could'nt delete them using CCleaner either ?!

    I'm using XP Pro SP3.

    Have you tryed to restart your computer ?
    Sometimes the same thing happends to me in Vista, but after restart I'm able to deleted'em..

    windows is always creating temp files--those are in use by Windows and cannot be deleted.

    You could use unlocker (goolge) to delete on reboot.

    Why do you want to delete them? To save XXX KB of disk space????
