Never had this problem on here before
its a toshiba satellite m30
played dvd's without fail up until now
i keep getting an error in media player which takes me to a site which tells me
I checked the drivers, they're all up to date
and now im completely lost
help much needed![]()

It takes a little bit sometimes to get someone that can help you on your thread...
From the sounds of it, you need a dvd decoder installed. A program like power dvd or another like it. Toshiba should have given you something when you bought your computer, you should check your disks. -
I usually don't offer help on WMP issues (because they are easy to search for and WMP is such a lousy program) but...I'd use VLC Player instead, or install and configure FFDShow, IIWY.

I had the same problem, try www.dscaler.org, it worked for me.
