    After I added NHC 2 to the KIS2009 exclusion list, revo and ccleaner won't even list it anymore. How do I uninstall it ASAP since it brings down the LCD brightness to the lowest setting which I am unable to change to Max Performance whenever the program is started? Thanks a lot.

    Have you tried temporarily disabling KIS and then trying the uninstaller? Also, see if you can uninstall NHC in Safe Mode.

    Alternatively, you can stop NHC from starting up(so your brightness etc wont go down)by disabling the startup entry with MSCONFIG(start-run/run-type 'msconfig'-startup tab-uncheck nhc:

    I removed it at startup and tried to see if I can uninstall it with KIS2009 turned off. Nothing came out of it so I just used KIS 2009 to block it. I hope that works.

    Has anyone had this type of problems with Notebook Hardware Control 2 R6? Thanks in advance.

    What error does it give when you try to uninstall it?

    I don't see it in Revo nor in CCleaner when I tried to uninstall it. Yet, the screen brightness still adjusts itself to the lowest setting and the system puts itself to sleep while on AC power. Help!

    Maybe a silly question but has NHC perhaps changed your power settings to Maximum Battery?

    @Baserk:

    Thank you very much for your suggestion which was right on the spot. I had fixed the settings in the power series right before you have posted. My bad. Thanks a lot guys. This forum is awesome.
