i'm using a dell vostro 1500
it had come with a 100 gb OS partition c: and a 10 gb recovery partition
i installed a 3rd party partitiotning software meant for xp by mistake which apparently changed a drive letter
i got an error on start-up ... i wasnt able to install vista as the c: was shown as unallocated disk space...
i then installed XP...
pls tell me how to install Vista now....( the d: drive doesnt have enough space to install vista) also i want to have a smaller c: partition(for OS)
in xp i'm not able to install my bluetooth and stuff
will i be able to recover all the disk space?

Make a Live (bootable) CD using ImgBurn or similar and use Gparted (icon bottom left) to resize your drives. You may (probably?) lose everything.
If you have your install CD's and don't mind starting over you can size the partitions as you wish. It's probably best to have someone walk you through. It gets a little confusing.
