I bought a computer that had Win 7 Ultimate installed and of course it comes with Bitlocker. Now I am not having a problem but I will never use Bitlocker and the little 100 MB partition really annoys me  So I want to know if it is possible to remove Bitlocker and reclaim my 100 MB or do I need to do a clean install to get rid of it. Is there an option during the install to not install Bitlocker? It doesn't annoy me that much but if I can get rid it I will.

The little 100MB partition is for more than just Bitlocker. It has a hole variety of recovery tools that you might benefit from having available.

Thanks for the reply Greg. But this partition is not on other versions of Win 7 ... or is it? What do they do? Or don't they have access to these recovery tools?
