I'm looking for a third party uninstaller that can cover the following 3 scenarios:
1) Fixing those situations where the regular uninstaller fails/crashes and the program is left in a half-uninstalled state
2) Completely uninstalling a program, leaving no trace.
3) Uninstalling programs that don't come with an uninstaller.
I tried Revo Uninstaller, but it can't do any of these things... Not even #2![]()
-
3)Certain binaries can be deleted simply because they don't not register any entries in the OS.
1)Usually rerunning the installer will overwrite the previous installation while providing a corrected uninstall order. -

2 isn't really possible. I use Revo to uninstall stuff and look for junk, then I go in myself and search for the things Revo misses.

I use Revo, try MyUninstaller top rated by gizmo.

Total Uninstall might work.
I used the freeware version many years ago on my Win98 and XP systems.
But you had to run Total Uninstall before you installed a new program so it knew what to uninstall.
The later versions now cost money.
The last free version is supposed to be v2.35, which I think can still be downloaded. But it might not work on Vista/Win7.
