I'm looking for a third party uninstaller that can cover the following 3 scenarios:

    1) Fixing those situations where the regular uninstaller fails/crashes and the program is left in a half-uninstalled state

    2) Completely uninstalling a program, leaving no trace.

    3) Uninstalling programs that don't come with an uninstaller.

I tried Revo Uninstaller, but it can't do any of these things... Not even #2 :(

The problem is 2)Package Designers can be jerks who don't add the full list of things to remove in the uninstaller.
3)Certain binaries can be deleted simply because they don't not register any entries in the OS.
1)Usually rerunning the installer will overwrite the previous installation while providing a corrected uninstall order.

2 isn't really possible. I use Revo to uninstall stuff and look for junk, then I go in myself and search for the things Revo misses.

    Total Uninstall might work.
I used the freeware version many years ago on my Win98 and XP systems.
But you had to run Total Uninstall before you installed a new program so it knew what to uninstall.
The later versions now cost money.
The last free version is supposed to be v2.35, which I think can still be downloaded. But it might not work on Vista/Win7.
