    I have uninstalled FlashPlayer.
It is not there anymore in the list of programs installed in the "Add\Remove Program" list. It is not there if I use Internet Explorer (a window popos up telling me that the page might require FlashPlayer, other times the website displays a message that I need it), but if I use Firefox it is still there. If I go to a page that has FlashPlayer clips, it plays; if I right click on the clips, I get the usual FlashPlayer menue with "AboutFlash Player 9"

I want to uninstall it (from Firefox too) and reinstall it (for both FF and IE).
The problem started as follows: I had Macromedia FlashPlayer installed (I think version 7). It was working fine in IE, but FF was always giving me the error message that a script was running slowly, whether I wanted to stop the script or not. The play of the clips also was chuggy. To solve both problems, I went to "Add/Remove Programs" and uninstalled the FlashPlayer. At that time I did not check whether the uninstallation was successuful everywhere; I assumed it was. I installed Adobe FlashPlayer 9. It did not help. So I unstalled it again and there is when I noticed that it did not uninstall from FF.
I repeated the process once more (install and uninstall), but it is still there.
Is there any way to get rid of it, given that it does not appear in the "Add/Remove Programs" anymore?

    Thanks

Thank you very much! Your uninstall did work!
The page that you pointed me to starts with "Due to recent enhancements with the Flash Player installers," it is not possible to unistall the FlashPlayer in the usual way. That reminds me of that joke in which all bugs are called a feature
