OK, in order for me to comply with the forum rules, I can't really explain why I want to be able to do this, but I will say that I have to be able to pull off windows updates.

The one I'm looking to uninstall is KB971033, so that's a major hint...

    Any insight???

(yes I searched, but didn't find anything.)

    Thread closed.

That KB is related to Windows Activation which is a security measure implemented by Microsoft so any discussion on how to bypass it/remove it is prohibited by the forum rules.

So...may I suggest linux...don't have to worry about activation ;)

Not to mention you do not have to illegally pirate a copy to get a working operating system. If you can't pay for it, don't steal it.
