How do I delete a program from my computer fully? I mean, when uninstalling a game or any other programs through "control panel" or the uninstallation wizard, it gets partially uninstalled, since the folder corresponding to this reamins in "C:/Program Files"
I usually complete the uninstallation, empty the Recycle Bin and delete the corresponding folder in "program Files". Does this mean that all that was installed got completely uninstalled too?

    HP Compaq nx7010, 512 RAM, PM 1.5 Ghz, 64 MB ATI 9200, 40 GB 4200 rpm, WSXGA (1680x1050)

A lot of times when you uninstall a program it leaves the folder under Program Files since there still is a file that doesn't get deleted. A game for example might have a file or folder of your saved games. The uninstall process will not delete the file and so the folder cannot be deleted. The same is true for some programs where it might have some type of configuration file left behind. Once I uninstall a program I usually delete the folder left behind since what ever's left will do me nothing.

The uninstall process will also often times leave remnants in your system registry. You can use one of a bunch of different apps for this. PC Mag did a review in their last edition about utilities like this. I don't have it handy or I'd tell you what they picked for reg cleaning.
