This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Unknown devices (new Windows install)

    I did a fresh install of Windows 8 a couple of days ago and just noticed that there are some new items in device manager (I don't think they were in my last install of W8).

    What are these devices (marked in red)? Could this be caused by a virus?

    Turn off your bluetooth adapter/antenna and the first two will disapear.

    Everything shown in Device Manager is normal and working correctly... it's not a virus.
