So, I bought a SSD disk to my laptop few weeks ago. I only have 30GB left of it and I have some games wich I don't have installed yet :p. So is there any (system) folders I can delete?
Like un-needed drivers or someting like that.

    I have already deleted;
Temporary Windows Update Files (Saved me 330MB)
I also know the TEMP folder wich is in Local Settings but, I use Auslogics BoostSpeed daily so it deletes it for me
    I have used SP2 CleanUp tool... (compcln.exe)

I read somewhere in NBR that I could safe delete printer drivers (?). And Yes I don't use any printers on this laptop. Use it with my HP :D I can't remember where the folder was located...

    Thanks for your time

If you have installed Office 2007, and are happy with what is installed, you can delete the MSOCache folder on your System partition. It'll be hidden, so enable hidden folders beforehand.

Apart from that, you can uninstall programs you don't need, and features through the 'Programs and Features' in Vista.

About the MSOCache, it has been discussed on NBR before. Is it safe or not (?). I have SP2 of Office 2007 installed. Not seen any crash yet, and yes I'm not going to re-install it.
Also I have nearly all features disabled. I have even uninstalled Windows Media Center (Yes, I hate it!) :D
I have only Microsoft .NET Framwork 3.0 Enabled at 'Programs and Features' :D
    Uninstall programs I don't need ?!
Well, I have my OS clean as it can be

have you disabled system restore? that gives a lot of storage free. what do you actually have installed? (btw, don't have media center, it's great. just get a dedicated media center pc for.. i don't know why it's os-integrated, though..)

i had a 32gb ssd and had windows, office, visual studio, some djing software, 5gb music on it, and still 5gb left. and all i did was disabling system restore. so.. what have you all on it, now?

You should be fairly safe deleting it, as long as you have run the software at least once.
AFAIK, the folder contains temporary files from when Office was installed.

Another idea: Have you upgraded to SP2? If you have, try the compcln command in Command Prompt (be sure to read up about it if you are unsure).

It is safe to delete it with a couple of caveat's. First you should do this through the disk cleanup button that shows up if you right click on a disk drive icon and select properties. From the list that pops up there is an option labeled:"Office Setup Files". This will delete the MSOCache AND it will update the registry to reflect that. This way if office were to look for the MSOCache, because of a service pack install, a now needed but uninstalled option etc, Office will know to ask for your original install CD instead of going to the MSOCache. Which brings me to caveat number two. You should make sure you have an original Office install CD before you do this. If not you may have a real problem with future service packs, updates, etc.
