    Unpark CPU Core

    Any of you tried unparking your CPU cores? I used a software to unpark those cores but I wonder if there are any methods that unpark cores without using softwares.

    You can disable C state in Bios....if it is unlocked.

    Unless you want your CPU clocks to be Stock don't disable C1E. On desktop CPU you can disable it.

    That's a gimmick. The OS will instantly unpark any core when it needs it, why would you want all your cores unparked when you don't need them?

    :rolleyes: THIS, smells like BGA thinking!! :eek: Same as some always suggests Windoze Balanced power plan, homemade or ODM's crippled power saving settings you can tick in their bloatware.

    Or stop the crap from overheating :D Not all ODM's put Throttling algorithms when the max temp passing 90C:rolleyes: Could be ugly when temp pass 100c.

    I love power saving when I'm not using the PC at all. When I use the PC, i prefer highest performance. Electricity very expensive here.

    I only shut it down at night or in the afternoon when I go to Sleep mode.(c10 state )

    I have no need for hybrid shutdown or any other power savings. We are soon in 2018 and ssd's is the golden standard.

    I don't use that, never. I meant I take a nap in the afternoon that is the time the PC will be shut down.
