Any of you tried unparking your CPU cores? I used a software to unpark those cores but I wonder if there are any methods that unpark cores without using softwares.

You can disable C state in Bios....if it is unlocked.
-
Unless you want your CPU clocks to be Stock don't disable C1E. On desktop CPU you can disable it.Vistar Shook likes this.

That's a gimmick. The OS will instantly unpark any core when it needs it, why would you want all your cores unparked when you don't need them?

THIS, smells like BGA thinking!!
Same as some always suggests Windoze Balanced power plan, homemade or ODM's crippled power saving settings you can tick in their bloatware.

Or stop the crap from overheating
Not all ODM's put Throttling algorithms when the max temp
passing 90C
Could be ugly when temp pass 100c.

What do you mean?
@Papusan -
I love power saving when I'm not using the PC at all. When I use the PC, i prefer highest performance. Electricity very expensive here.
-
When I'm not using the pc... I simply push the shutdown button

I only shut it down at night or in the afternoon when I go to Sleep mode.(c10 state )
-
I have no need for hybrid shutdown or any other power savings. We are soon in 2018 and ssd's is the golden standard.
-
I don't use that, never. I meant I take a nap in the afternoon that is the time the PC will be shut down.
